**Restaurant and Bar Supervisor**

Spa Golf Club is one of Northern Ireland’s top 100 Golf Clubs, Complemented by the panoramic views of the Mourne Mountains, this 6,500 yard, 18-hole Co. Down parkland course is any golfer’s dream. Described by visitors as a “must play course,” we pride ourselves on offering an enjoyable, yet challenging course on some of the finest greens in the county.

Our popular and affordable restaurant and comfortable lounge area allows guests to enjoy a day out with the family. The modern clubhouse, built in 2002, caters for private functions including birthdays, christenings, and weddings, and boasts a busy social schedule.

This is a hands on, operational role, you will take responsibility for the Bar & Restaurant team delivering a quality service across a busy operation, including all functions. You must have a strong focus on people development, customer service and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing stock, restocking, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining product quality
- Serving guests & members and handling complaints. Interact with customers, take orders, and serve beverages. Providing excellent customer service is the priority.
- Training, supervising, and motivating staff, ensuring the team understand their roles and responsibilities to foster a positive team culture.
- Continually monitor business levels are ensure shifts are scheduled to meet these levels. To ensure cover is in place at all times for the requirements of the business.
- Working with the management team to increase sales and revenue, managing staff budgets and sales targets.
- Maintaining health and safety standards. Uphold high hygiene and cleanliness standards within the bar area.
- Following club standards and policies, oversee the quality of drinks served, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
- Providing event management support for functions and specific days eg. Televised Golf dates, Captains Day’s, Presidents Days
- To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance.
- Wear clean uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming.
- Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Preferably - At least one year of experience as a restaurant and bar supervisor or team leader.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Proficiency in stock management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Quick decision making and problem-solving skills.

**Salary**
Pro-rata rate. Dependent on experience.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
