**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Hearst UK consumer revenues are a fast-growing part of the business and one with ambitious plans for further growth, driven by both our existing product portfolio and new product launches. We have a vacancy within our Consumer Revenue and Marketing team and more specifically within the Design team, for a Marketing Design Executive to support us in delivering best in class creative campaigns, across our consumer marketing areas: magazine and membership subscriptions, events, holidays, and beauty boxes. You will work with our marketing managers on exciting campaigns to drive consumer sales. The role reports into the Senior Marketing Designer.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Marketing:

- Support the senior designer on the day-to-day creative tasks to deliver marketing campaign assets across digital and offline channels (banners, social media ads, display ads, in magazine pages, and other)
- Produce attractive and effective designs for marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Produce drafts, prototypes, and engaging design solutions
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for B2C marketing campaigns
- Work on layouts and artwork pages ensuring work is supplied on time
- Assist in managing the weekly creative deadline schedule across consumer sales business
- Use innovation to re-define a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.

Design Optimisation:

- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Provide input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
- Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches
- Work closely with the marketing managers to optimise campaigns' engagement

Key Relationships:

- CRM, Subs Marketing, and Products Marketing, e-commerce, and wider consumer revenues teams

**ABOUT YOU**

Essential:

- Proven experience of working across digital and print design
- Must have experience using Photoshop, illustrator, and InDesign
- Social media ads design experience
- The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Customer-centric design approach & Customer empathy focus
- Multi-tasker
- Team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised and able to work to deadlines
- Good communicator
- Flexible, agile, and quick thinking
- Solutions driven

Desirable:

- After Effects or other motion graphic design tool
- Knowledge and use of prototyping tools (i.e. Sketch, InVision, Zeppelin or other)
