**Location**:

**Salary**:
£24k p/annum

**Hours of work**:
36.5 hours per week (with ½ hour lunch), Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm Friday 9am - 4pm. **This position is office based.**

**The Role**:
Coffee Masters supplies independent coffee shops, schools, colleges, pubs, restaurants, garden centres, tourist attractions and the public with coffee machines, coffee beans, teas and a wide range of related products. Coffee Masters is more of a business partner than just a supplier, continually looking for ways to help its customers grow their businesses through offering new ideas and providing ongoing training, advice and support.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Completing administrative requirements in line with company procedures
- Answering internal and external telephone calls, taking action as necessary including messages and passing these on accurately to the relevant departments/person.
- Using bespoke and off-the-shelf databases to fulfil customer orders
- Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure the business operates smoothly and efficiently
- Taking full ownership of queries and following them through to a successful outcome.
- Processing customer requirements in a timely manner, to ensure all requests are accurately fulfilled.
- Consistently developing and maintaining an in-depth and detailed knowledge of the core product range.
- Taking on any other responsibilities or tasks whenever reasonably asked.

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**:
**Essential**:

- An interest in coffee
- Experience of customer service
- Demonstrable experience of administrative duties
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and an ability to provide high levels of accurate administration.
- A high degree of IT proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as the ability to use the internet and databases.
- Self-motivated with strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to demonstrate a consistent and friendly approach to customers whilst promoting a professional company image.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Able to work on own initiative, organising and prioritising own workload.
- Good time keeping.
- A very positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

**Desirable**:

- Full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude towards life with the ability to strike a healthy balance of fun in the workplace without ever losing sight of the job in hand
- Passionate about their work and strives to go the extra mile
