**The role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UC Support Specialist to be part of a supportive team responsible for managing and resolving complex incidents and problems, both in and out of hours. You will be expected to manage escalations and take the lead on problem management issues, whilst providing advice and guidance to the rest of the team. Working alongside other Support Specialists, you will fulfil customer delivery to the highest standard.
**About you**
- Strong understanding and background of designing and supporting complex Cisco CC infrastructure in a large corporate environment. The role requires a highly technical skillset, specifically in Cisco CC.
- Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and supporting services.
- Administration and maintenance of Cisco UCS Servers. Cisco IOS gateways and Session Border Controllers.
- Knowledge of Cisco UCCE, Webex Contact Center, Cisco UCCX.
- An independent, self-starter capable of managing their own workload.
**Responsibilities**
- Support Cisco Communications Manager, Cisco Webex Suite and Webex Dedicated Instance. Troubleshoot the interactions between the above components and Cisco Contact Centre Enterprise, Contact Centre Express, Webex Contact Centre and Arc Pro Attendant Console.
- Configure and manage the interactions between the Cisco UC components and LDAP and Call recording systems.
- Troubleshooting SIP and other protocols on Cisco IOS gateways and SBCs.
- Work methodically through issues that impact the UC stack and present findings to a wider audience, ensuring buy-in from third parties for issues outside of Nasstar control.
- Understanding of the integration between third party solutions and impacts on the UC platform.
- Understand of support processes for third parties and able to leverage them at suitable opportunity.
- Ability to understand the root cause of an issue and communicating this to third party and customers.
- Able to identify knowledge gaps and help support specialist with improving their skills.
