Event Security Officer

We are specifically interested in hiring several Event Security Officers (ESOs) to support our nationwide operations over the course of Spring/Summer. This may then lead on to ongoing work off-season as part of our regular operations.

The responsibilities/roles that an ESO are likely to undertake are:

- Assisting with event access control in terms of conducting checks on attendee credentials as well as conducting: body/bag searches and metal detection.
- Engaging in crowd management and ensuring that the health and safety of individuals on site is maintained.
- Monitor crowd behaviour to ensure that individuals do not engage in any threatening or violent behaviour towards others.
- Remove such individuals who occasion or cause harm, whether this be physical or mental, to others and/or themselves.
- Work closely with the on-site management team to ensure that events are safe for attendees and secure from any potential criminal or terrorist activity.

PLEASE NOTE: this role will require travel to different locations with an agreed framework between the Company and the prospective Employee. A driving licence and vehicle is therefore preferred, but individuals without means of transportation are still encouraged to apply.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
