**Job Purpose**

The purpose of the Sales and Implementation Specialist role is to support development and maintenance of our community of Nessy users across UK, Ireland and the rest of the world, whilst demonstrating a good understanding of Nessy values, and products and services.

The Sales and Implementation Specialist will be answering customer queries, preparing proposal and invoice requests, and provide implementation and training sessions. They will also be supporting the sales team through trial management, customer retention, attendance at industry events, and leading on any administration required to ensure the smooth running of sales campaigns.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

**Overview**

On a day-to-day basis, the Sales and Implementation Specialist is in charge of processing orders and invoice requests for our school customers, as well as responding to any queries they have.
- They work alongside the Sales Team and Sales Manager, to ensure that queries and orders from key customers are identified and referred or dealt with in an appropriate manner.
- The Sales and Implementation Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all customer queries are responded to, and customer orders and invoice requests are processed, within 48hrs of receipt.
- Where processes for managing product trials or customer account management/retention require it, or where support is required for key projects or initiatives, the Sales and Implementation Specialist leads the necessary administration tasks required to manage these, supported by the Sales Manager.
- The Sales and Implementation Specialist will create and provide implementation, training, and support sessions and materials to assigned customers.
- Where required, the Sales and Implementation Specialist will support the Head of Operations, Sales Manager and other Sales Team members by attending industry conferences and events to promote Nessy products and services.
- Along with the rest of the Sales Team, the Sales and Implementation Specialist is responsible for the achievement of team sales targets.
- They will also assist in the maintenance of accurate customer data and financial records through Nessy’s customer support, sales and invoicing systems.
- They will keep their knowledge of Nessy products and services up to date, and adhere to Nessy values in all that they do.

**Focus Areas**

Managing customer queries

Customer Orders
- The Sales and Implementation Specialist should always ensure that customer records are accurately maintained in line with established processes, in order to support key internal reporting processes.

Support for Key Customers
- In collaboration with the Sales Team members and Sales Manager, the Sales and Implementation Specialist ensures that queries and orders from key customers are identified, referred and dealt with according to processes agreed.

Administration tasks to support sales processes, projects or campaigns
- The Sales and Implementation Specialist is expected to assist with these tasks as and when required, as directed by the Sales Manager.

Events
- Whilst the Sales and Implementation Specialist is not responsible for the booking, or organisation of these events, their assistance may be required to support activities related to these, such as marketing campaigns or communications with customers.
