The Systems Implementation Specialist team are responsible for ensuring that best use is made of digital platforms during their implementation, steady state, and future enhancement.
As a System Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, build/ configuration, testing, and digital learning of our clinical systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- To be Subject Matter Experts for all supported systems and become experts for new systems that the Trust implements.
- To be an expert link between clinical best practice, and the design and implementation of the technical solution, through specialist knowledge of the issues and requirements of all parties.
- Manage process and workflow mapping, process re-design, including the generation of detailed systems requirement specifications.
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- The role requires an individual with proven experience of implementing successful IT Systems, with excellent knowledge around the systems life cycle. These disciplines will include, change management, testing, training and support and configuration
- Knowledge of, and/or experience in the NHS and health sector would be preferred. Experience of working in flexible and dynamic ways is essential as this role will be varied in many of its activities.
- The post holder must have experience of planning and organising their own day to day activities, including workload management, and formulating and adjusting plans to reflect changing circumstances.
- He/she must have experience of working with stakeholders, under very little guidance, especially in relation to the Support Services function.
- Able to understand the needs, objectives and constraints of customers in other disciplines.
- Experience of writing up conclusions around the abilities of systems that could solve a business problem.
