When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help children and young people (0-25) and their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. Join us and your skills will make a real difference to the lives of young cancer patients.

**About the role**

We are looking for a standout fundraising marketing leader join our successful Supporter Giving and Marketing team.

Our Supporter Giving and Marketing team has just embarked on an exciting and ambitious new strategy which aims to achieve substantial income growth in the short to medium term. This role will be crucial in delivering our new strategy by leading the team to collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to oversee the development and implementation of a range of engaging and innovative mass marketing activities.

This is a role with responsibility for an already signification programme of marketing, relationship building and innovation plus successfully driving our new strategy. So we are looking for someone with experience in using direct marketing to reach new supporters and build meaningful long term relationships with them, who is always hungry to try new things and who can lead confidently and clearly. We need someone who can work across the organisation to influence and embrace change and constantly strive to achieve more.

Young Lives vs Cancer is open to and in support of flexible working. Your flexibility requirements and that of the role will be discussed at interview stage with you.

This role is home-based and can be based anywhere in the UK with regular visits to Young Lives vs Cancer workplaces/meetings

**We would love to hear from you if you have**:

- Previous senior management experience ideally within fundraising marketing or similar setting
- Strong and extensive experience leading fundraising marketing, gaining new supporters and building loyalty with those supporters
- Strong experience of interpreting results data and acting of this information
- Strong experience of managing budgets, forecasting at a micro and macro level
- Experience of delivering new, innovative approaches
- Experience of leading, inspiring and motivating colleagues through transformation.
