Talent Acquisition Specialist

Cawood is the largest independent provider of analytical laboratory testing and sampling services for the land-based industries in the UK. With 15 sites around the country specialising in different types of analysis, we are always looking for skilled and talented individuals to join our teams.

- Job Description:
- To work collaboratively with the HR Team and hiring managers to ensure a designated recruitment strategy is executed and the best talent is hired.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, giving clear advice, communicating regular updates and managing hiring manager expectations.
- Input into the implementation of the recruitment strategy
- To anticipate and identify external factors impacting on Cawood’s ability to attract, recruit and retain great people for our business
- Managing the offer to contract process, including issuing the contract and new hire paperwork through Workday
- Maintain all systems and trackers to ensure accurate reporting of recruitment
- To deliver an innovative, data driven and digitised approach to talent attraction, including expert use of social media, analytics and technology
- To assist in building the employee brand for Cawood Scientific
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Understanding of a talent acquisition function, its processes, ways of operating and key deliverables. Playing a key part in a talent acquisition function.
- Operating experience with Workday - desirable
- Enthusiasm, energy, and ability to drive the talent acquisition agenda forward
- Experience in internal high volume requisition management
- Must be able to work effectively and collaborate within cross functional teams.
- Must take initiative and have the ability to conduct hands-on work.
- Strong morale compass that can operate with commercial awareness
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
- Highly organised and excellent time management skills.
