**About the role**

We're on the hunt for an Accounts Assistant to become a valuable part of our team.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Reconciliation of company bank accounts
- Preparing bank payments for approval - including supplier invoices, payroll and business expenses
- Daily invoice processing
- Weekly sales reconciliation
- Commercial analysis of pricing and sales trends
- Assistance with quarterly VAT returns
- General ledger duties
- Credit Control
- Project work as directed
- Other ad-hoc financial analysis and administration duties

**Salary and benefits**

£23,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)

**Place of work**

This role is based at our office on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Shields.

Hybrid, up to 1 day per week from home.

**Working hours**

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Monday - Thursday

8.30 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. on Fridays

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
