**MEDICAL CLAIMS ASSISTANCE**

**ROLE DETAILS**
General Insurance is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. General Insurance offers a broad range of products tocustomers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network. Corporate Operations provide a wide range of services to the organization such as Finance, Internal Audit, Communications, Security and Human Resources.
- New Product development
- Alignment with the business terms of insights and promotion of AIG propositions on the market.
- Monitoring competitors’ product launches and market news relevant to product development in the UK.
- Manage the Commercial Product Pipeline.
- Partner with Commercial Product Towers and Distribution Teams and directly contribute to the development of new product ideas.
- Investigate, target and drive the development of new/refreshed products out to the marketplace.
- Agree and implement cross line product development strategy with all relevant business units.
- Govern product lifecycle from ideation with the business teams through to development, delivery of the product to the business.
- Ensure that Post Launch Reviews are in place and ensure remediation &/or action plans in place to improve performance where needed.
**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**
- Experience of working in the Insurance Industry and/or Customer Centric regulated industries
- Experience of supporting & driving innovation and product development
- Proven ability to approach planning on a risk-based methodology
- Ability to positively influence, in a multi-cultural environment, stakeholders at every level both internally & externally
- Ability to deliver strategic directives internally
- Effective delivery of deadlines through others & across multiple functions
- Be able to put the customer at the heart of all decision making and promote a customer first culture
- Broad range of competencies, from direction and pace setting to coaching and effective listening
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to promote and build a team atmosphere that fosters technical and service excellence
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Cultivate and promote working relationships with all our UK functions & profit centres.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum education standard of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above and 2 A Levels or equivalent or appropriate experience.
