Change Recruitment are working with an innovative, dynamic Financial Services client with offices based in Glasgow and Edinburgh who are looking for a Manager for its Financial Crime Advisory function.

This key role is part of the 2LOD Risk team who are responsible for defining the Banks core Financial Crime strategy and control framework. In this role you’ll get the opportunity to provide SME guidance and technical support to the business and key FC relatedprojects.

You’ll also be able to lead on FC risk assessments, the delivery of bank-wide FC training and engage with key internal and external stakeholders on FC best practice, industry initiatives and emerging risks.

In this role, you will be supporting the Senior Financial Crime Advisory Manager to coordinate and deliver (and lead on as required) the following activities:

- Owning and optimising the Bank’s Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions strategies and control frameworks for all products and delivery channels to reflect emerging risks, changes in the law, and industry good practice.
- Delivering the annual Financial Crime (FC) risk assessment and updating it following changes to the Banks operating model, customer base or product suite.
- Delivering the annual FC Training needs analysis and plan and support the development and roll out of that training as appropriate.
- Provide technical (SME) support for material FC related issues and incidents.

Experience and knowledge:

- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of retail banking activities, products, and services.
- An SME Level understanding of AML and Sanctions risks, current law, regulation, and industry good practice.
- Proven experience in a FC advisory, oversight /assurance, or Nominated Officer Function role.
- Experience of providing SME input to FC related projects.
- Possession of (or willingness to study for) an ICA Diploma in AML
