We are looking for a new star to add to our busy office, working within our small and friendly sales office as part of the customer service team to give excellent service to our new and existing customers. James Robertshaw Ltd was established in 1860 and has continued to be a highly regarded designer, manufacturer and installer of quality bespoke Internal & External Blinds & Awnings. We supply Contract, Trade, Commercial and Domestic customers throughout the UK from our base in Horwich, Bolton. We continue to grow with ambitious plans for the future, the company is looking to strengthen the overall customer experience wich is integral to this role.

**Working within our busy sales office you will be responsible for**:

- Working with clients to find the best product specification to suit their needs and site conditions.
- Working well in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Updating the stock take file and provide reports to your line manager.
- Provide support cover to the Sales team where required (Annual leave)
- Dealing with tender enquiries sourced through Barbour ABI software.
- Following up quotations completed by our estimating team and converting into sales.
- Dealing with leads generated by the website and offering advice and information.
- Cold calling and generating leads for our sales representatives.
- Brain storming new ideas wit the line manager
- Organising and booking appointments for our surveying team when necessary.
- Communications Skills: Excellent communication skills are a must have for this position, in both verbal and written form. These skills are especially necessary in establishing a clients needs, dealing with external partners and internal colleagues. Good spelling and grammar are essential as is possessing an excellent telephone manner.
- IT: Must be highly proficient in Ms Word, Excel, Access and Outlook and be generally computer literate.
- Interpersonal Skills: Will be passionate and highly energetic in their approach to work, self-motivated with a can-do attitude and able to work under mínimal supervision. will be proactive.
- People Skills: Ability to build lasting relationships with numerous clients as well as having a natural instinct to consider other team members duties whilst performing your own - being helpful.
- Experience in a sales support or administrator role in a customer-focussed environment.
- First-rate Customer Service skills
- Experience in and a good ability to prioritise workload.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
- Keen willingness to learn about our wide range of products.
