Nothing beats the feeling of helping someone find their passion. At Westminster City Council, our City Lions team helps young local people engage with culture, creativity and dreams. When they came across a lonely, isolated 16-year-old who called himself a failure, they knew what to do. They worked 1-2-1 to find the thing this boy really loved. YouTube, it turned out. But it’s impossible to turn that into a career, right? Wrong. A week later, he was enrolled on the British Film Institute film-making programme. It was the ultimate light-bulb moment. And it turned him into what he is today - a budding Spielberg with a world of opportunity at his feet.

**The Role**:
Joining a diverse team of people who are highly motivated to make our City a better place to be, you’ll help to make a long-lasting difference and influence behaviour change. Our range of exciting projects - and your range of responsibilities - are highly varied, so you can be sure no two days will be the same. You’ll provide vital support to project and programme managers, we can work effectively with public, private and third sector partners to make London a nicer and healthier place to live, work and visit. Your responsibilities will range from engaging organisations to take part in projects, through to delivering monitoring and analysis which help to make sure those projects meet their objectives on time, in budget and to a high standard.

**About You**:
Experience of engaging with organisations to change behaviour or processes will equip you to hit the ground running. You’ll also benefit from experience of organising and facilitating meetings. Comfortable working in partnership with the public, private and voluntary sector on complex projects, you have the communication and relationship building skills to develop trust and rapport, explain complex ideas clearly, and balance different parties’ requirements. We also expect you to bring skills in data analysis, research and reporting, including the use of web-based data collection tools like Survey Monkey. Naturally, the role also calls for knowledge of environmental issues such as air pollution, green logistics or corporate sustainability.
