**At a glance**:
As a Resource Planning Coordinator you will be required to build effective relationships with Partners and Managers and empower them to take ownership for their operational success and personal development.

As part of the Fenny Lock Resource Planning and Training Team, implements operational strategy and influences future vision for Fenny Lock in line with the Partnership Plan and Partner Priorities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support the site to deliver their daily objectives through working with department managers to ensure people count reflects workflow across the site while maintaining OWR.
- Setup process and create tools and systems within spreadsheets that are used on a day to day basis collaboratively across the site to capture data used to influence Resource Planning decisions.
- Using Workday, ensure there is a compliant and simple absence management process that supports Partner wellbeing whilst maintaining accurate records that feed into ASH reporting for senior management.
- Develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with key stakeholders across the site and network to ensure effective channels of communication and collaboration.
- Plan inductions for new Agency Partners and JL Partners against required intake, remaining flexible for the site and individuals needs.
- Identify and continually improve training planning tools that provide a simple and efficient means to capture all training hours and output clear training plans for the operational teams.
- Plan & prioritise operational training requirements against short & long term demand to provide a flexible and efficient workforce while adhering to budget.
- Keep an accurate skills matrix and regularly review with all key stakeholders to ensure gaps in the skillbase are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality keeping all files in compliance with the Data Protection Act as well as other internal & local compliances.
- Provide and contribute to continual improvement initiatives for the team and/ or site.
- Ensure core administration duties are covered across peak hours, such as management of shared inbox and daily communication tools and trackers.

**Essential skills you’ll need**:

- Advanced technical ability with spreadsheets (such as Google Sheets) required to develop and maintain tools and innovative ideas and solutions to resource requirements.
- Advanced knowledge in formula writing.
- Previous experience of working successfully within a multi disciplinary team
- Attention to detail, along with excellent organisational skills. Operates with an attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and prepare reports using Data Studio.
- Able to challenge and influence others including all stakeholders.
- Ability to translate data, to understand and communicate operational influence.
- Reconcile weekly operational or flash hours and predict site costs utilising planning tools.
- Create and maintain cost trackers, for all project and capital expenditure costs.
- To be able to monitor expense spend against the allocated capital budget.
- Extensive Knowledge of Workday
- Ability to plan and prioritise daily and weekly tasks.
- Passion for learning and developing self and others.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills.

**Desirable experience skills and qualifications**:

- Capable of covering other operations to provide support as required.
- Previous experience of working within a logistics/supply chain environment.
- Previous experience within a planning or support function.
