Our Client is a busy law firm situated in the heart of Manchester City Centre, they’re a multi-disciplinary law firm committed to delivering tailor-made legal solutions to individuals and businesses.

The role of the Housing Disrepair Team Leader will involve passionately managing a team of 10 - 12 fee earners & case handlers in an appropriate and pro-active manner. You will be Leading, coaching, and inspiring team members in their growth and pursuit of continuous improvement and development. You will also be Ensuring case handlers continue to operate in full compliance with up-to-date process awareness and Regularly assess the team and individual progress, conducting due diligence on files to maintain standards. We expect you to assist team members where there may be complexities with particular client matters and Conduct reviews often with members of the team to ensure they can raise and discuss any requirements or concerns. Positively motivating and encouraging where needed. Keeping track of payments and costs, ensuring deadlines are met and transactions are completed efficiently is essental in this role along with Liaising and reporting to the Practice Manager where you may require support on certain matters and to Ensure duties are being executed in compliance with legal guidelines with mínimal risk.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Cases will consist of Housing Disrepair files including all steps from cradle to grave, including litigated cases.
- Team responsibilities include the allocation of files relating to Local Authorities/Councils and Housing Associations, so you will be liaising directly and regularly with other professionals.
- Previous experience dealing with case management systems to prioritise and organise your workload (Proclaim and/or Zoho experience is desirable)
- Reviewing files with a view to litigating and settling on the best possible terms.
- They will also deal with ad hoc, day-to-day enquiries raised by the fee earners and identify and meet any ongoing training/development requirements.
- The Team Leader will also be responsible for the management of the team, including regular reviews and ensuring that all key financial targets and other targets of the team are achieved.
- This is an excellent role for a Housing Disrepair Team Leader who is keen to join a team where there is a lot of scope for progression as it continues to grow.
- **Personal Specification**:_
- University degree (min) required to be considered for the position
- Previous experience managing a team of litigators/paralegals/file handlers with a focus on Housing Disrepair
- Strong case management experience (Proclaim would be desirable)
- Experience coaching, developing, and managing a busy team
- Excellent Housing Dis-repair process and legal knowledge.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

**Experience**:
