**Seasonal Visitor Centre Assistant Wanted in Fort William**

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a stunning setting? We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Seasonal Visitor Centre Assistants at a visitor centre based in Fort William.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Visitor Centre, ensuring outstanding customer care in all areas.
- Work on a rota basis within the Visitor Centre, retail area, and cleaning roles, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Provide information about Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis, and the surrounding area to visitors.
- Ensure the Visitor Centre opens and closes securely at the appropriate times.
- Assist with retail operations, including sales, stock deliveries, replenishment, and stock taking.
- Handle cash daily and maintain accurate records.
- Facilitate group bookings and respond to telephone enquiries.
- Ensure the security and safety of the public and private areas of the centre and grounds.
- Carry out Fire Warden duties as required.
- Undertake cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the Visitor Centre, external grounds, and public toilets.
- Operate a hot beverage service and soft scoop ice cream machine for visitors.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis, and the surrounding area.
- Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and adhering to house policies and procedures.

**Pay: £12.15 per hour**
