Based 5 Days a week on-site in Newark, this role will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders including estimators, project leaders and suppliers; negotiating on price where possible.
The Buyer duties and responsibilities will include:
Project based sourcing - identifying, networking and creating proposals for new and current projects
Identify High Value areas for the business
Having responsibility for set categories and spend
Analysing the market - looking at trends, interpreting data and presenting reports back to SLT
Consolidate spend across suppliers and aim to get leaner
Elevations Procurement & Supply Chain are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:
Extremely analytical approach - able to interpret data and presented findings
Proven experience of sourcing and managing suppliers and stakeholders
Exposure to Direct and Indirect Spend including maintenance, fuel, PPE etc
Resilient attitude to working
