The Hospice Lottery Partnership has a vacancy for a Business Development Assistant supporting sales growth and marketing opportunities in support of local health-related charities. This role will give you the opportunity to develop partnerships, work oncause related marketing activities, as well as developing sponsorship opportunities, making this a truly rewarding role.

**Hours**:part-time 22.5 per week (Monday-Friday).

**Salary**:£23,000 (pro rota to £13,800)

**Location**: Office based with some travel throughout the counties of Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, Oxon, Middx, and the London Borough of Hillingdon and Hounslow.

**Contract Type**: Permanent.

**The Role**:

- Research, develop and implement strategies for market expansion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of new and existing organisations in retail, medical centre, and business outlet settings.
- Actively deliver marketing initiatives in line with the Business Plan.
- Maintain a fully functional fundraising attendance diary.
- Support the Sales and Marketing department.

- Experience of B2B engagement.
- The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Organisation and project management skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- To be a self-motivated natural rapport builder, confident and charismatic.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude - eager to learn, problem solve, and take on new challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator.
