**Post Title**: Study Abroad Coordinator**SBU/Department**: Academic Registry**FTE**: 1.0 fte (working 37 hours per week)**Duration of Contract**: Permanent**Salary**: UH5 £25,642 per annum with potential to progress to £28,762 per annum by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience**Location**: College Lane campus, Hatfield- Academic Registry is one of the University’s largest Strategic Business Units and supports the business and its administration through a number of dedicated teams who provide an expert central service supporting students throughout their journey from enquiry to award. Working closely with the Schools of Study we also offer a point of contact for external agencies and the management information needed for business planning and development.- Most teams in Academic Registry operate hybrid working arrangements that allow most staff the option to work from home (in the UK) on a regular basis if they wish to.- Find out what it's like to work in Academic Registry HERE**Main duties and responsibilities**
- This is a challenging position with the opportunity to contribute to new working practices. We are looking for a motivated and proactive administrator to support our Study Abroad office. Work will include maintaining systems related to Study Abroad, both internal and external ensuring the timely maintenance of records, financial data and reporting in support of funding through Erasmus for staff mobility.- You will provide provide administrative support, advice, and liaison for the Erasmus mobility programme, and other student exchange and study abroad programmes. This will include advice and information to inbound and potential outbound students.**Skills and experience required**
- You will need to bring a willingness to be flexible in time and in workload to support effective team working and to facilitate seamless customer service to everyone that you work with. The role requires a high level of accuracy with data input and the flexibility to work on a wide range of different processes and regulations. You will also need attention to detail, good organisational skills, the ability to use initiative, and ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills in working effectively with key individuals.**Qualifications required**
