An exciting opportunity has arisen for a flexible and dynamic individual with great interpersonal skills, to join our team as a Booking Officer in the Contact Centre at Yeovil District Hospital. We're looking for someone to work three days a week from 08:30 - 17:00 with an hour for lunch.

The successful post holder will assist in delivering a smooth and efficient administrative service, contributing to patient care. Some of your time will be spent in the Contact Centre dealing with patients over the phone and online and and some will be spent supporting patients face to face, when they arrive for appointments within Main Outpatients.

You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions, and you must possess effective communication skills whilst always maintaining patient confidentiality.

You must be confident, diplomatic and able to work in a busy environment with a pleasant and caring disposition.
