Making A Difference as a Security Coordinator in the Place Services Directorate.
The hours of work are an average of 37 hours per week,
Duties include, organising staff rotas for mobile security Officers, Out of Hours Co-ordinators and CCTV staff. To organise and issue the Mobile Officers with designated patrols of council establishments, collect all data from any intruder / fire / panic alarm activations, assist in keyholding duties, open / close council establishments for contractors etc. Organise courier duties for all council departments, static duties at St Helens Crematorium and Newton Cemetery. Initial contact and response for any major emergency plan activation on behalf of the council.
Ensuring client service level agreements are adhered to in relation to Security Industry standards.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must have a flexible approach to working hours to cover if and when needed.
Knowledge of alarm systems, CCTV systems would be an advantage.
Required to use number of Microsoft and other PC platforms etc.
