At Heaven Support Services Ltd, we house and support young people aged 16 years and above, we mentor them into an independent young adult and a member of society.

We are looking for a highly experienced Nominated Individual to join part of our SLT team.

The successful applicants must be qualified to QCF L5 or an equivalent qualification.

**Job description**

The Nominated Individual will be responsible for leading the Ofsted registration, overseeing all aspects of the home's operation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing high-quality care and support to the young people in our service.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Nominated Individual to make a valuable impact on our organisation and the lives of young people in our service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To be the Ofsted registered Nominated Individual for the young people, act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the homes meet relevant requirements set out in legislation.
- To ensure the service meets the Quality Standards as outlined in the Guide to the Supported Accommodation Regulations including Quality Standards 2023.
- To lead on any Regulatory Body inspections, Safeguarding Concerns including communicating with LADO, Complaints, and whistleblowing.
- To oversee the management of placements within the homes and to liaise with the Registered Manager in articulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a synchronised approach to services for young people.
- To manage the service budget, ensuring expenditure is contained within the available income within the financial year.
- To attend internal and external meetings as required such as management meetings, team meetings, placement meetings, LAC Reviews etc.
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders/clients to maximise the organisations performance.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of support provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance service delivery.
- Be responsible for the policies and procedures of the company and raise any adaptations needed to the Directors.
- To ensure a high standard of consistent support and service in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures of the registered provider.

**Skills and Experience**:

- 2+ year’s previous experience in a senior management, leadership role within children's services.
- Ofsted experience identifying, assessing, support planning, delivering, monitoring and evaluating outcomes.
- Quality development and improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and adapt to changes.
- Extensive knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children.
- Management skills to supervise the management of the service efficiently and effectively.
- The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Social Health Care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
