**Project Coordinator (Community Health)**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. You will be working on an exciting fixed-term project focused on community, inclusion, health, and wellbeing.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering a timetable of community wellbeing events/sessions throughout the Black Country. The project aims to address health inequity by providing individuals with knowledge, experiences, and peer-led spaces to improve life outcomes for themselves, their families, and their communities.

**What will I be doing?**
- Utilise project management techniques to ensure smooth delivery and achievement of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Develop and deliver a full timetable of community events and activities in Dudley and Walsall. Including, adjusting plans to meet the needs of the community.
- Travel across the Black Country to attend community events.
- Promote the project to communities and stakeholders to maximise signups, engagement, and attendance with activities. Including, presenting the initiative within community spaces.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders (community members, colleagues, volunteers, commissioners, voluntary organisations, and local statutory organisations) to collaborate on project development, delivery, and promotion.
- Be attentive to the needs of community members and offer pastoral support (including following safeguarding and health and safety policies).
- Coordinate and oversee a small team of volunteers.
- Generate reports on project performance to track progress and identify operational risks.
- Maintain and organise project documentation per record-keeping and data protection policies.
- Report to the Project Portfolio Manager on key results and project progression.

**Salary**:£24,960 - £27,040 (pro-rata, based on experience)

**Contract**: Fixed-term (6 months)

**Working Pattern**:Flexible working patterns, including evenings and weekends when necessary.

**Experience**:

- Experience working in a project administration or coordination role (or similar) (E)
- Experience working for voluntary or community-based organisations (D)
- Health or sports-based coaching or coordination (D)

Knowledge:

- Excellent understanding of project management techniques and principles (E)
- Knowledge of communities in Dudley and Walsall and issues that impact them (E)
- Understanding of community health and factors that may impact health outcomes (D)
- Understanding of marketing techniques and ways to promote the project successfully (D)

**What is the project/organisation?**

We are a community interest company based in the West Midlands. We develop and deliver projects around mindset development, financial literacy, and employability. We listen to communities and then build experiences around them. This includes mental health and wellbeing services, enterprise and business development programmes, community engagement, research and community insights, and bid writing and development.

We work with local authorities, statutory services, housing associations, education settings, non-profit organisations, and more to bring tailored programmes for defined communities.Our impact includes:

- Designed a mental health pathway in the West Midlands to support 400+ people with free person-centred therapy (in partnership with Home Office + Violence Reduction Teams)
- Provided mental wellbeing support to 10,000 households of a housing association in East + South East of England
- Won the award of ‘Outstanding Service Provider 2023’ for Black Country Impact Programme
- Delivered Dudley’s low-level mental health service to support individuals in self-management of mental ill-health and improve wellbeing
