**Job Description**:
Pertemps are recruiting for an Procurement Administrator to work on an assignment at our well-known Public-Sector client based in Edinburgh.
Starting ASAP until July 2023 FTC
£13.31 per hour
Hybrid working - Edinburgh based
35 hours per week
To provide first line customer service to users and external suppliers for goods and services and support the running of Procurement Operations in accordance with the Procurement Strategy.
The main duties would be:
- Provide support and advice to end users on procurement procedures, including preferred suppliers, quotations, and financial limits, escalate to appropriate Procurement personnel for further support.- Day to day management of the Procurement Card Programme, processing new cardholder requests and card terminations, dealing with cardholder enquiries and requests for limit amendments. Monitoring cardholder compliance to Procurement Card Policy and other relevant policies, escalating issues to Procurement Support Manager as necessary.-
- Assist the development of Procurement Operations processes and work to improve service standards.Essential:
- Strong admin experience and previous experience of working within a procurement environment- Excellent IT skills- People person- Team player- Previous experience within similar role- IT skills such as Microsoft Outlook, word and excel and booking systems.
