**The Company**

The Hellens Group, with offices in Washington, Wynyard and Catterick, incorporates a number of property, construction, manufacturing and social enterprise businesses with interests throughout the North East, Tees Valley and Yorkshire.

The Group has a combined commercial and residential rent roll of in excess of £4m per annum. Hellens Investments owns a large portfolio of land and property throughout the North East, Tees Valley and Yorkshire ranging from development sites to high spec office space, industrial and retail units.

Hellens Land are active in the purchase of sites for development for residential and mixed uses, using the company’s in house expertise to regenerate sites where necessary. Taking sites from planning stages through to construction, Hellens offer all-encompassing solutions to specific site requirements and needs. We have recently secured £43m of funding with our joint venture partner Homes England bring forward Burtree Garden Village, Darlington. We have also purchased 170 acres of development land at Queens Meadow, Hartlepool which is proposed to be part of the Hartlepool Mayoral Development Corporation.

**Vision**

Over the next 5 years we plan to increase our portfolio of both residential/mixed use development land and in addition our rental property portfolio through in-house developments with Burtree and Queen’s Meadow being pivotal to our growth plans.

**Essential requirements of the Role**

NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or similar level qualification

Previous experience in the commercial property sector

Must be an excellent record keeper

Must hold a full driving licence with access to own transport

Must be willing to travel around the north of England

Must be dressed tidily and appropriately to visit clients, consultants and local authorities

PPE will be provided for sites under construction

**Reports to Senior Development Surveyor**

**Summary of the Role**

The Property/Project Administrator will support the delivery of residential, mixed use, retail and industrial development sites. They will also be responsible for the management of our existing property portfolio including liaising with existing and prospective tenants. They will work closely alongside in-house support teams and key stakeholders. Due to the small nature of the Company the role will offer autonomy and variety than comparable positions, alongside a stimulating and challenging work environment. Key Duties will include but not limited to:
**Management of Existing Properties and Land**
- Managing existing land and property, including liaison with tenants, our group construction team and supply chain.
- Assisting with invoicing rent, service charge and insurances
- Management of service charge accounts
- Lease renewals

**Delivery of Development Sites**
- Assisting with project management including attendance of meetings and minute taking
- Assisting with land disposals/acquisitions
- Assisting with Financial appraisal of development opportunities
- Project management
- Client liaison
- Consultant liaison
- Grant bid support
- Marketing of sites

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
