Marketing and Events Specialist

My International Insurance client are looking for a Marketing and Events Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience with corporate events and experience with social media. This hybrid rolecomes with excellent benefits and there will be the opportunity to travel as part of the role to events around the UK. You'll be joining a dynamic and fun team that will provide you with support as you grow in your career. This is a varied, hands-on role whereyou will be involved with, and on occasions, owning projects from cradle to grave.
**On a day to day basis as a Marketing and Events Specialist you will**:
- Work alongside the Events Manager to support in executing the events plan to deliver face to face and virtual events, including event attendance and stand management. Responsible for driving forward event planning and liaising with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Social media marketing: creating social media posts on LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Campaign management: working with other Marketing colleagues to execute campaign ideas to support brand messages and key sector/segments. Monitor, adjust and report on executed activities.
- Content creation and management: generate new product and thought leadership leveraging internal stakeholder expertise and external suppliers. Use propriety and third-party channels to syndicate content to audiences, positioning our client as an expertthe areas we want to be famous in.
- Collateral management: be responsible for the management of marketing collateral, ensuing all material is coded and reapproved as required.
**What is a Must Have as a Marketing and Events Specialist?**
- Hands on experience of running events, physically and virtually.
- A quick learner, you'll have bags of initiative and be pro-active at getting things done.
- An effective communicator with the ability to build trust and credibility both externally and internally with senior members of the company.
- Personable and engaging with a proven record of building strong relationships.
- Experience of working in a corporate environment.
