Volunteer Befriender

Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Befrienders. As a Befriender, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others by providing support and assistance in various areas. This is an unpaid position.
**Duties**:
- Communicate and interact with service users in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Build a good relationship with the service user
- Provide feedback to the befriending coordinator about a summary of calls made monthly
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience or interest in improving service users well-being
- Proficient in English language
- Basic IT skills are desirable
