**Befriending lead**

To oversee the delivery of a volunteer befriending project for social isolated adults within our Knowsley office. The aim of the project being to support individuals to redeuce social isolation and improve levels of independence.

**Key responsibilities**

1. To recruit and advertise volunteer vacancies.

2. To oversee the onboarding and training of volunteer befrienders

3. To manage a team of volunteer befrienders.

4. To manage the coordination of befriending connections.

5. To oversee the management of befriending software.

6. To promote and market the befriending programme.

7. To attend meetings and events where appropriate to promote project.

Person Specification

1. Confident in managing and supporting a team of volunteers.

2. Experience in supporting vulnerable adults.

3. Experience in project management and voluntary sector management.

4. Confident in the use of IT and data software

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14,625.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
