**Job description**

**Job Requirements include**:

- To provide first ‘point of contact’ for customer queries.
- Preforming reception duties including answering the telephone, paying good attention to detail and working to deadlines.
- To liaise with customers and respond to queries and complaints.
- Support senior staff and sales personnel by providing administrative support.
- Providing prompt and comprehensive responses to customer queries relating to quotes, prices and general enquiries.
- Occasional despatch and stores cover.
- Processing and filing of customer orders including data entry.
- Respond to enquiries and provide relevant information to promote the company to customers.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Grade C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- GCSE Grade C in Physics (not essential but preferable)
- PC Skills including M/S office
- Minimum of 6 months experience in either customer service, sales or an administration role

**Advantageous Criteria**:

- Strong data entry experience
- Experience working with excel

**General attribute**:

- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team alongside sales personnel, purchasing and operational departments of the company
- Pleasant and co-operative with both internal and external customers.

**Part-time hours: 10-20 per week**

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour for 21 and over

£8.70 per hour for 18-20

**Job Type**: Part-time
