Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for a **HR Advisor** to join our team on the Coop contract, based in Avonmouth. As a HR Advisor, you will provide HR support and guidance in Avonmouth and a range of people related matters including, recruitment, development and employee relations.

This position is being offered on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary between **£30,000 - £35,000 per annum.** In addition, you’ll get 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Day-to-day you will provide a first level advisory service to the site team. You’ll be supporting the delivery of the People Agenda to align culture, talent, structure and processes
- As well as assisting the HR Manager with implementing the site People Plan, you will lead the payroll activity ensuring accuracy, education and a robust resolution structure from the on-site team
- You will support the site talent agenda with development, appraisals and succession planning. We also want you to support the leadership team in setting standards and building a positive site culture - we want this to be an awesome place to work and you’re in a great position to influence this
- We believe we’re good at what we do, but also appreciate that we can always do things better. We want you to work with a view of continuous improvement and help make positive changes where possible

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Proven experience in a similar HR Advisory role. A CIPD isn’t necessarily essential but would certainly help
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would really help you in this role - no two days will be the same and you will need the ability to think on your feet
- A positive attitude is a MUST - we work hard, so we need to make sure we love the environment we work in and make sure this flows throughout our workforce
