Role Summary:
Manage and develop the People Operations Team to deliver a proactive, commercial and engaging people service across all our clients locations, (UK, US, SA, AP & BVI), in respect of policies, processes, data and analysis, and systems, whilst ensuring theeffective and on time delivery of all compensation and benefit programmes and payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- To act as lead for all compensation and benefit programmes, including job evaluation, annual bonus and salary review.
- To provide expertise and advice to the organisation on all aspects of compensation and benefits.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders such as CPO, COO, CEO, CFO and importantly work cohesively with the Finance team to ensure that people data is correctly aligned with the budget reporting.
- Manage all people systems (e.g. applicant tracking system, HRIS, benefits platform, e-learning and engagement platform), and develop processes to ensure that the quality of the data within these systems is accurate and that they support the processes ofthe People Team.
- Produce management information, KPIs and people dashboards as required, and oversee the timely production of data undertaken by People Operations Team members by leading the regular HR reporting schedules to ensure that all people information, people actionsand projects are shared upwards in an engaging manner to demonstrate the value add that the People Team bring.
- Lead scoping, design, and implementation of flexible benefits transformation project for delivery in 2023, as part of a wider People and Culture transformation programme.
- Monitor external trends and initiatives in People and Culture landscape to bring recommendations and innovative ideas to maintain a leading employer brand.
- Regularly review their suite of benefits, systems, policies and ways of working and propose opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee payrolls for companies that make up their centre of operations, helping develop efficient but robust processes.
- Design and maintain reward programmes, making creative suggestions as appropriate to support their brand and culture and in accordance with any market practices, employment law developments, and HMRC guidelines/ consultations.
- Manage international assignments and global mobility as necessary.
- Work effectively in cross-functional project teams as the people team lead as required.
- Sharing knowledge with, liaising and negotiating on behalf of other associated their entities, ensuring value for money is maintained across benefit programmes and platforms.
- Establish good working relationships with 3rd party providers to ensure that the quality of service provided and value for money is delivered for them and its employees.
- Act as data privacy champion for the People Team, ensuring that their systems, policies, and processes are compliant with the latest data protection guidelines (i.e. GDPR).
- Partner with the Change Lead in implementing and overseeing a tracking system for a variety of People Projects. This will include performance reports and an early -warning system.
- Provide Chief People officer with regular input into Remco and Board papers.

For this role they need you to be/have:

- Exceptionally numerate and able to interpret complex data and present in a meaningful way to stakeholders, providing insightful written and verbal narrative.
- Employee benefit design, risk insurance and trust model knowledge
- Highly IT literate with demonstrable knowledge of deploying and implementing cutting edge systems.
- Excellent working knowledge of reward and experience in managing pay and benefit programmes (annual salary reviews, bonuses etc).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, (over communicating where necessary), with the ability to break down technical data and concepts so that they’re easily understood by a wide audience.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects at the same time, including the successful implementation of HR systems.
- Skilled in HR systems - developing system capability and insight as appropriate to add value to the overall People strategy.
- Creative and analytical - identify areas where developments and improvements are needed and come up with innovative solutions, cost analysis and project managing through to implementation.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and have good prioritisation skills to ensure that expectations are carefully managed.
- Relevant HR experience in reward, compensation and benefits, and systems.
- Prior experience in benefits harmonisation post M&A would be desirable.
