**Summary**

The Physical Activity team is passionate about supporting people to be physically active and live well with arthritis. You will join a committed team and we want to hear from you if you are well organised and digitally confident and want to join us in developing physical activity through digital content to benefit people with arthritis.

**About the role**

We are working collaboratively across the organisation to deliver a number of projects to support and deliver our organisational ambitions. Research shows us that engaging in physical activity reduces pain, improves quality of life and strengthens the muscles and joints. It is one of the best things that people can do to improve their Musculoskeletal (MSK) health, and it contributes to overall physical and mental wellbeing. However, for many people with arthritis and other MSK conditions, barriers to participating in physical activity can feel too overwhelming to overcome. In fact, four in 10 people with MSK conditions tell us that they are inactive.

Our physical activity programme aims to push back the limits of arthritis, through the development and implementation of a varied suite of digital support interventions, including instructional videos incorporating movement into everyday life, enabling and empowering people with musculoskeletal conditions to reclaim activity at a level and time that is right for them.

**Key requirements**
- Good organisation and attention to detail to coordinate team activities, including event support, project support, minute taking.
- Working with colleagues to highlight trends in data and insight from online channels and inbox, and ability to identify and recommend solutions, build analytical reports, and present findings.
- Supporting the planning, production, maintenance and reach of content on a variety of digital platforms, for example building content for the Let’s Move newsletter and Facebook group, and the Versus Arthritis YouTube channel.
- Working with the Physical Activity Digital Project Manager and Physical Activity Manager on alignment of Let’s Move digital and face to face work, ensuring we are reaching groups and communities that would not normally reach out to the charity.
- Offering advice, information and guidance to subscriber requests, supporters, individuals and organisations through Let’s Move multiple online channels.
- Maintaining accurate financial information and following internal policies and processes.
- Ability to manage the Let’s Move Facebook Group, leading recruitment of volunteer Moderators, facilitating weekly Moderator meetings, managing Moderator rota. Supporting the team in running live sessions, moderating and scheduling posts in the Let’s Move group and reporting, recording and escalating safeguarding concerns.

*As a hybrid worker the expectation is that you will spend around 40% of your working time in our office spaces or working in community settings. As an inclusive employer we will consider home-based working for anyone where office-based hybrid working would be a barrier to being able to work for us, for example for someone living with a long-term health condition or disability.
