**The role - what’s involved?**

As our Engagement and Inclusion Project Coordinator you will join our Sandford Award winning engagement team to coordinate the delivery of a significant, location and audience-specific, community engagement project.

Working to a National Lottery Heritage Fund style activity plan, you will coordinate the design and delivery of innovative and engaging online, face-to-face and digital experiences for varied audiences. These will be delivered in line with our engagement methodology.

Examples of activities you will lead include: school sessions; event delivery and management; the coordination of public walks, talks and tours; volunteer coordination; collaboration with national events including Play Days, The Big Draw, Heritage Open Days and the Festival of Archaeology; community arts activities with a specific wellbeing, STEM and literacy focus.

The role allows you to draw on and develop your skills in engaging more, and a wider range of people with collections, heritage and landscape and develop your pedagogy in a heritage setting. You will develop your practise in using archaeology, landscape and archaeological process as an exciting stimulus for participation in the arts, enhanced well-being and learning about science, culture and heritage.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Lead the coordination and delivery of the activities as outlined in the activity plan.
- Support and champion the thorough evaluation of the project, collaborating with evaluation specialists to integrate evaluation tools into the programme.
- Liaise with client/project stakeholders
- Delegate the preparation and delivery of some activities to colleagues, whilst you coordinate the project as a whole.
- Coordinate the training, induction and ongoing development of volunteer participants.
- Report on progress.

**Essential certification**
- You must have a full, clean, UK driving license or equivalent.
