**You Are**:
- Often told that you are welcoming and approachable.
- Unafraid to laugh.
- A natural people-person whether face-to-face, on the phone or by WhatsApp/ SMS.
- Organised without always being shown how.
- Neat and logical (probably with a fridge with set spaces for the butter and the cheese)
- Comfortable and unafraid of multi-tasking on multiple computer screens with 6 things happening at once.
- Proud of your attention to detail.
- Able to anticipate the needs of other people by putting yourself in their shoes. You "read the situation" so they're always in their comfort zone.
- A quick learner, but proactive to ask for confirmation or feedback.
The right person is likely to have worked in a people-facing environment and has a track record of going above and beyond in their work, and in their life in general.

Hundreds of clients per year enquire with us because they feel embarrassed about their smile, or they’re nervous about dentistry, or their quality of life is worse because they can’t chew their food properly.

Those roles used to be ‘one person’ type jobs, but they are now a seamless journey where you will collaborate with the entire team but never be “scripted”.

**The Role**:
You’ll make people feel welcomed and special, so much so that they can’t wait to tell others about the Smile Stories experience.
**Core Tasks**:
- Organise and plan all clinic schedules, so that we're efficient and use of the clinic resources wisely.
- Successfully manage the client journey, payments, queries and day-to-day flow in the building.
- Communicate the value of what we do (in person and on the phone), and explain how our results are worth it for how they will feel afterwards.
- Hold a lengthy conversation with new clients on the phone in which you are building a personal relationship and they recognise that we go above and beyond.
- Meet and greet new clients and ensure people show up excited for their first appointment and throughout their care.
**Skills/Competencies Needed**:
- _Empathy_ - be able to hold meaningful conversations with prospective clients on the phone and in person.
- _Insightful and knowledgeable_ - be able to answer all questions asked on the phone in a such a way that increases the likelihood that the person asking will want to become a new client.
- _Personability_ - recall names, faces of clients and in doing so making all our clients feel welcomed and remembered to develop long-term relationships.
- _Preparedness_ - provide a warm and welcoming greeting, make them feel like the centre of our universe.
- _Spelling and Grammar_ - first impressions count, so if our messaging looks sloppy so does our experience and our clients' results.
- _Prioritisation and organisation_ - plan for a structured schedule which uses our colleagues’ time productively and efficiently.
- _Reliability_ - follow through on commitments. Live up to what you’ve agreed regardless of personal cost.
- _Attention to detail_ - you don't let important details slip through the cracks.
- _Alertness_ - able to spot potential opportunities or mistakes before they happen.
- _Resourceful _- readiness to react, because not everything always goes to plan.
