Are you looking for a Finance officer role with a focus on Reporting, Accounting and Analysis?
Due to growth in the Finance team, we are interested in meeting an experienced accounting technician to join our Finance team. You may have experience of working in housing or you may have a background in working within a large Finance team in another sector. If you are now looking to develop your knowledge working with Finance and want to join an organisation that actively improves lives, this could be for you.
The property and asset maximisation team works within the Group Finance Team providing support relating to the Group’s fixed assets and repairs contracts to include Major Repairs, Repairs Maintenance, Voids and Asset Maximisation. Some of the duties you will undertake will include analysis of costs, posting monthly journals for repairs, property sales and other development related activity, preparing accruals as well as supporting Finance Business Partners in cashflow forecasting, budget preparation to help us deliver a successful service.
You’ll need to demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work under your own initiative. Previous experience of working with large data sets, maintaining finance ledger system, providing reports, working with excel and delivering monthly reconciliations in line with agreed timescales would be beneficial. This varied role will enable you to gain experience in working across a large and complex organisation as part of a large finance team.
To be successful in this role you will ideally hold or working towards your AAT, but not essential and possess experience of working within a financial team previously.
