We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated HR Assistantto join our Workforce Advisory Service. This role is perfect for an experienced administrator who has high level IT Skills, attention to detail and accuracy and understands and demonstrates confidentiality and the ability to work to and model our values of caring, safe and respectful. This is a fast-paced job therefore we needsomeone whois able to work at pace and can multi-task. It's more important to us that you meet these attributes rather than having any experience of working in HR.

This varied and busy role will see the post holder working as part of our friendly and dedicated advisory team. This post is a key customer facing role with the primary focus of providing high quality, innovative advice and solutions aimed at ensuring the provision of a comprehensive administration support service across the Workforce Advisory Team.

Provide a high standard of administrative support to the Workforce Team. To work under the direction of the HR Officer and HR Managers, to assist in the provision of a comprehensive, efficient and effective workforce advisory service.

Working from the Trust’s policies and procedures, provide basic advice and guidance to staff and line managers to resolve day to day workforce queries.

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.

We recommend that all individuals employed in patient facing roles, or those located on a ward or department where patients receive a service should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

In summary, you will provide efficient administrative support and assist the Workforce Advisory Team to deliver our HR service to the organisation.

You will be the first point of contact in providing basic advice and guidance on day to day workforce queries, working within the boundaries of the Trusts Policies and Procedures, signposting when necessary and escalating to a senior colleague when appropriate.

You will provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Workforce Team in all aspects of case work, projects and Agenda for Change. Including arranging meetings and hearings within agreed timescales, including arranging dates, liaising with those involved and secure appropriate accommodation when required.

You will be required to produce accurate records of minutes, either handwritten and/or typed, during meetings/hearings and distribute to the appropriate sources.

Using your IT skill's, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining individual records of case work on the electronic Case Management System and using ESR to obtain basic personal details for use in specific tasks.
