**(Y)Our Opportunity**
- We’re looking to recruit a **Finance Administrator**, to join our Finance team here in Sidcup. This is a Hybrid role working between home and office( 2 days per week in the office and one working from home). Some travel may also be required across the Trust's AcademiesAs the **Finance Administrator (Academy Finance)**, you will provide day-to-day support across the academy finance team, undertaking cash and banking administration and related queries, as well as supporting the smooth running of the TKAT Trust wide inter academy process.- We’re a busy, fast paced team, so you’ll need to hit the ground running Ideally you’ll be working towards your AAT qualification, or have the practical experience of having worked in a similar role for the last 2 years. As an outward facing member of the finance team, you must possess fantastic communication skills, be proactive and resilient to the day to day challenges of education finance.- We’ll support your development and give you plenty of opportunities to enhance your skills along the way and you’ll benefit from our flexible home based working pattern from day one.**The Finance Administrator will lead, drive and continue the great progress already made within this area of the trust, the key responsibilities include**:

- Process cash transfer related transactions onto the relevant finance databases.
- Complete software administration on the Trust’s finance package and other internal finance systems for both the Head Office and Academies where necessary.
- Develop a sound understanding of the Trust’s department and nominal chart of accounts to ensure that inter academy transactions are posted against the appropriate budgets to correctly inform the consolidated reporting process throughout the year.
- Support the Finance Assistant with the consolidated cash flow forecast reporting process, including carrying out monthly reviews of academy cash flow forecasts and liaising with academy based staff when necessary
- Support academy based finance staff with queries they may have as and when required.
- Work with the Finance Manager (Financial Accounts) during the year-end audit process and complete assigned tasks as and when required.

**The ideal Finance Administrator will be someone who is**:

- Experience of double-entry bookkeeping (essential)
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Data handling including numerical data.
- PC literate (Google suite preferred).
- Experience of working in education (desirable but not essential)
