As part of the Foundation, FireFit Youth & Community Hub is a state-of-the-art world class facility for young people and the community, delivering a range of youth work programmes and adult health & fitness activities. We are currently seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Assistant to support the day to day delivery of caretaking, maintenance and health and safety activities.

**This is an important role in which you will**:

- Carry out day-to-day cleaning, caretaking and compliance activities across the site.
- Carry out low level maintenance tasks such as basic repairs.
- Work in line with all necessary health and safety regulations, risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH requirements.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Extensive experience of day-to-day caretaking, including the safe set up, set down and storage of equipment.
- Experience of completing low level maintenance and repair work to high standards.
- Knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation and best practice guidance e.g. COSHH
