Based on the Cornish coast, we're a multi-channel lifestyle brand with over 70 shops across the UK & Ireland, over 400 wholesale stockists and a growing online business.

As a Branding Specialist within our Sourcing team, you’ll build a strong branding strategy, working in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business to ensure an efficient and smooth-running branding process that is legally compliant. You’ll be responsible for ensuring branding initiatives meet the business requirements through cost, design, production, shipping, and customer experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of functions across the business, using excellent organisation and planning skills to develop a branding strategy that meets the critical path, influencing and collaborating at all levels.

**_Please note, as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week but the nature of some roles may require more working time in our head offices) and remotely within the UK._**

**You’ll help us by**:
You’ll manage the branding process through concept to production, ensuring all critical path stages are delivered on time, eliminating any delays to product delivery. You’ll ensure all developments work in line with the business calendar and branding lead times. Communicating with product teams and external suppliers on branding queries, you’ll ensure all branding orders are placed and branding briefs run smoothly.

Chairing weekly branding critical path meetings, you’ll ensure a clear timeline of branding orders are running alongside the critical path, working to avoid any production delays where possible. You’ll follow through on outstanding actions with the wider team and suppliers, sending sample approvals and design comments within a timely manner.

You’ll ensure clearly organised sample management for easy of reference by all teams, labelling approvals and rejections with actions and dates. Managing stock levels and work with suppliers to ensure stocks are managed, you’ll manage supplier performance and highlight any strengths and where greater support is required.

With a passion for quality and sustainability, you’ll work on improving and optimising our existing core products through tracking packaging quality issues, determining the root cause and implementing plans to improve. You will ensure all products are made using responsible sourced materials and present our positive changes through marketing.

**The skills you’ll be sharing with the team**:

- Strong critical path management.
- Good collaboration skills while working with our suppliers and internal teams.
- Previous experience in the retail industry would be advantageous, ideally within Buying, Sourcing, Procurement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to overcome issues, propose solutions and make commercial decisions.
- Ability to perform under pressure and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programmes, particularly Excel.
- Strong organisation skills, project management, process management.
- Good understanding of cost management.
- Effective communication at all levels and able to negotiate and influence others.
- Self motivated.
