Your role at a glance
A fantastic opportunity to join our Global Mobility team at a time of exciting international growth for the business. This is a broad, diverse role where you’ll be able to develop your experience of both Global Mobility and International Benefits. It would be well suited to someone with experience in this area of HR and who is targeting increased exposure and development opportunities in their next role.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as single point of coordination for international assignees and family members, end to end coordination of assignments, including the monitoring of all in
- and outsourced services and activities to ensure compliant, timely and high touch assignment experience for employees & family members
- Acting as International Mobility Subject Matter Expert by pro-actively sharing relevant knowledge and advising internal stakeholders (HR colleagues, line management & employees) on the execution and implementation of Global Mobility/Global Rewards policies.
- Ensuring that individual Expat compensation packages are designed inline with policy and practice, to deliver consistent and equitable treatment of assignees. Aiding business in forecasting and cost tracking for all assignees, through production of pro-active costings and forecasts for relevant business decision makers.
- Day to day management of multiple suppliers (Mobility, immigration, relocation) including completion of invoice reconciliation/internal cost recharge processes to ensure timely and quality delivery of services including Service Level Agreements.
- Contributing to wider Talent Management processes, helping the business make the most effective use of mobility programmes, enabling the right people to be assigned to the right place at the right time.
- Providing guidance to both employees and HR on international benefits (excluding UK and US), including engagement with benefit providers and external advisors to secure correct technical advice as needed.
- International Benefit supplier management, including service delivery, invoicing and enrolment processes, to ensure agreed levels of employee benefits are in place across international countries
What we're looking for
**Knowledge**:
- Broad, non-UK reward knowledge
- Benefits (including Pensions) knowledge across multiple countries and jurisdiction
- Understanding of global tax &, immigration principles, dependencies and how they intersect and impact on global mobility design & operations
- Deep and broad understanding of global mobility compliance, particularly focused on global immigration, tax, social security, mobility compensation and risk management
- Expert in a specialized field of rewards, and able to contribute to the design of global rewards policies, processes and tools.
**Experience**:
- Relevant experience of working within a global mobility function, covering North American, European and Asia Pacific inbound and outbound international assignees (Expats) and cross-country transfers (International Moves)
- Delivery of the day-to-day operational activities in relation to moving staff on assignment, working as part of the global mobility team
- Experience with working with external vendors and managing delivery of services (including professional tax support services, household goods shipment, destination services, international medical insurance and immigration services).
- Process improvement mindset and pro-active in proposing improvements / evolutions of current way of doing things
