As written by our client

“Before uni I spent 5 years at a special residential school with a small peer group so I was really looking forward to being as independent as possible and meeting new people.I am really proud to have lived independently since last September but my 1st year has been socially quite challenging. I have struggled to attend lectures due to my fatigue and anxiety; or find accessible social activities. I am looking for someone who can proactively support me to develop this aspect of my university life”.

“I’m a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise and also like Marvel and DC. I’m also a lover of sports - mainly football but also basketball, rugby, tennis etc.”

“I am looking for someone who can be flexible. I have no idea what each day at university will be like but one of the things I value most from having my care team is the ability to be spontaneous. I may decide with relatively short notice to spend time at home in Surbiton, or elsewhere and I would need you to travel with me.”
