Inspection Operator / Production Assistant

Location: Clydebank

**Salary**: DOE

Company: A flexible packaging and labels client within a variety of markets including food and beverage and non-food.

Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a production assistant / inspection operator to join a leading organisation in Clydebank.
- Quality checking regularly to ensure product meets required standards, dealing with any problems
- Working in a busy production room
- Ensure all lines are prepared in all aspects to assist in achieving daily/weekly plan
- Flag order for any plate or die damage that will affect the next run
- Passing the necessary job information along to the next process
- Maintaining general housekeeping duties within area
- Complete all necessary paperwork

**Requirements**:

- Experience working within a packaging and/or self-adhesive labels manufacturer - preferable
- Experience within a busy production environment
- Team player
- Ability to manage own workload and tasks efficiently.
- Self-managing, proactive, ability to use own initiative.
- Must be able to work the hours required to meet the requirements of the job
- Must adhere to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills
