BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer based in Newcastle with travel to other sites.

We are looking for someone to work part time, across 3 days a week (must be a Thursday but flexible on other days.

The duties include but are not limited too;
- Taking the lead role in the assessment of incoming referrals
- Working with individuals in a focused way which enables them to maximize their independence and live to full potential
- To work alongside vulnerable individuals in promoting independence and empowering sustainment of their tenancy.
- To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required in order for their tenancy to be maintained - including any signposting required. This must be reviewed on a regular basis.
- To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy or others - this must be reviewed on a regular basis.
- To provide information, advice and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.

This is a full time role, 35 hours per week, temp ongoing

9ams - 5pm (flexible start and finish time depending on person/situation)

Pay rate; £10.66ph PAYE

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: Up to £10.66 per hour
