About the role
- Work within Business Support to manage streams of work designed to support, improve or transform our hub operations ensuring we always serve customers, communities and the planet safely and a little better everyday.
- Be agile in your approach, working across different areas of our Business Support operations to ensure plans are aligned in support of the Service Delivery Model and our strategic goals/drivers.
- Engage with stakeholders across Tesco, working with others to deliver objectives, functional priorities i.e. Safety and measurable improvements to shrinkage and security.

- Take ownership of process and systems, Keep accountability and responsibility where it should be, Adding value through leading your teamand engaging central specialist teams where required.

You will be responsible for
- Following our business code of conduct and always acting with integrity/due diligence.
- Leading the team in the Daventry Support Hub to effectively manage CCTV monitoring for stores.
- Being accountable for the Hub having a 24 hour team coverage across 7 days a week, being flexible with working pattern so CCTV is always effectively monitored and channels are supported e.g. Stores, DC etc.
- Ensuring there are effective escalation processes in place where CCTV identifies shrink and security incidents, providing timely and effective support where required within agreed timescales.
- Developing valued relationships with Government agencies, law enforcement and other companies to improve security and build intelligence against criminal activity to enable risks to be highlighted and control activities enabled.
- Proactive usage of centrally provided data, sharing foresight with my team to diagnose and mitigate risk getting to the truth of issues supporting Retail Directors to deliver convergence and sustainable plans.
- Setting clear objectives and reviewing my teams performance through 1:1 meetings, Inspiring Great Performance
- Every Day and everyday conversations, using the supporting your performance process to manage underperformance where required.
- Continuously reviewing the capability within my team, inspiring my team to take ownership of their development and providing guidance and support where needed.
- Recognising achievements, celebrating success and using the fair ratings process to ensure my team are recognised for the contribution they make.
- Building strong collaborative relationships between with key security and shrink stakeholders and channels to improve shrinkage performance and drive down preventable security incidents.
- Ensuring there are effective processes and response times in place for any police requests for CCTV.
- Ensuring there are effective processes and responses in place for any issues or incidents by working with the wider security team and following escalation processes.
