**Highways Schemes Supervisor**

Milestone Infrastructure look after 24,000 miles of roads, 280,000 lighting assets and 20,000 miles of footways, always with a view to ensuring that all works are carried out as sustainably as possible and with mínimal impact to local communities.

We are looking for a Highways Schemes Supervisor to join our team on our Cambridgeshire Highways contract in Huntingdon.

Working as a Schemes Supervisor you’ll supervise highway schemes and ensure each scheme is delivered meeting health and safety, quality and environmental standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for supervision of individual highway schemes
- Ensure client expectations of individual schemes are achieved
- Ensure all scheme tasks are programmed, planned, supervised and executed in accordance with specifications, drawings, dimensions and within agreed commercial limits
- Be responsible for the direct supervision of both self-delivery and supply chain delivered schemes
- Ensure all scheme tasks are carried out in accordance with Skanska processes and policies
- Ensure sufficient resource is available for each stage of the scheme
- Be responsible for the onsite Health, Safety and Wellbeing of operational staff and ensure the works adhere with Environmental processes
- Build a strong relationship with the client.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Relevant CSCS card
- Experience in highways maintenance scheme delivery
- Knowledge of New Roads and Street works Act
- SMSTS
