**Head of Operations**

**Location: Suffolk**

**Office & Remotely Based (Min 3 days in the office)**

**Salary & Package: £65,000.00 + Car Allowance and attractive benefits**

**Aim of role**: To manage all links in the Companies operational activities and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet operational demands and optimise productivity. This includes ensuring operational best practice, operational improvement, compliance and strategic planning to optimise workflows for all supply chain activities. Management of stock, maintenance of Company premises, risk management and the implementation of new technologies.

**Responsible for**: Field Service, Installations, Client Services, Production & Stores, Premises & Maintenance.

**Primary duties and responsibilities**:

- Establish KPI's to measure operational effectiveness that guarantees customer Service Level Agreements are maintained, to the required level.- Management of the Field Service and Installation resources to ensure all services meet customer expectations.- Ensure Production achieve prompt delivery, at the required quality levels while optimising productivity.- Participate in the evaluation of risk and quality assurance.- Contribute to the procurement strategy for products and services for approval by the Board.- Direct and develop means of optimising stock levels appropriate to the business requirement.- Identify and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiencies.- Manage and develop the Service function to ensure an effective and timely delivery of services to the customer, within contractual SLA's.- Drive customer satisfaction and report any issues to The Board- Risk Management including identification of operational risks and the development of strategies to mitigate them, taking part in the Health & Safety committee, compliance with vehicle operating regulations and provision of appropriate insurance cover.- Manage import and export processes to ensure compliance with HM Customs regulations- Responsibility for provision of Company vehicle fleet and the effective and safe operation of the Fleet- Manage the maintenance of the Company premises- To promote co-operation and effective communication between all departments under the control of the Head of Operations, and with all other departments within the business.- Collaborating with internal stake holders such as finance and procurement to negotiate vendor contracts and ensure cost-effective purchasing.- Evaluation of Company policies, procedures, strategies and processes with the aim of identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.- Participate in the development of an effective ERP system.- Control of departmental overheads to maintain profitability.**Head of Operations will need to be**:
