We are currently assisting South Glos council with their drive to even further stabilise their permanent workforce and reduce the need for agency staff. The salaries on offer range from £28,785 to £41,591, depending on the role; with posts available acrossPatchway, Kingswood and Yate.

The council has embraced the 'new normal' offering a host of flexible working options, as well as manageable, and well managed work loads - regular supervision and the ability to run your own diary are central to how they practice.

Not to mention they are based on the beautiful Bristol's doorstep, along with a comfortable commutable distance from south Wales, Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire (although the level of flexible working will no doubt allow for people to travel furtherfor the opportunity)

The vacancies range from Social Worker to Senior Social Worker roles, working across MASH, Duty, Child Protection, Children with Disabilities, and Looked After Children/Corporate Parenting.

The respective salaries are as follows:
Social Worker £30,095 - £32,798

Advanced Social Worker £34,373 - £37,568

Senior Social Worker £38,553 - £41,591

In addition to these competitive rates, all newly appointed Senior Social Workers will receive a £3,000 welcome payment after probation.
