Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Protection Specialist to join our team in Central Locality, South Gloucestershire Council. As a key member of our Social Work team, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable children and young people in our community.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with families, children, and other professionals. You will also have a good understanding of asset and strengths-based approaches to social work and be able to make informed decisions that prioritize the best interests of the child.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with our experienced team to provide high-quality, child-centred services that meet the needs of our clients. This may involve working on cases involving child protection, children in need, and looked-after children, as well as providing support and guidance to families.
