As a Programme Delivery Practitioner at the Trust you will work as part of the Improvement and Delivery team to lead, drive and deliver projects aligned to Trust objectives. The breadth and diversity of the programmes within the scope of the team provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced Programme Delivery Practitioner who is looking to broaden their breadth of experience opportunity.

The post holder will need excellent communication and influencing skills, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the challenging NHS environment and the national requirement. They will need a commitment to improving services using best practice improvement and project management methodologies, skills and tools.

Programme Delivery Practitioner will need to have excellent people skills, as this role requires a high degree of critical review, engagement and challenge to exceptionally busy clinical and corporate colleagues.

The Programme Delivery Practitioner will be initially aligned to a specific division. They will be led and directed by senior colleagues, developing and utilising project management skills and tools to enable delivery of the divisional workstream outcomes within agreed quality, cost and time parameters

- To foster effective and supportive relationships with divisional workstream leads to enable delivery of agreed outcomes
- To develop strong and supportive working relationships with Finance and Workforce Managers in particular, as well as business intelligence and data teams
- With direction, working with clinical and corporate teams, develop and deliver the annual efficiency programme for a smaller sized clinical/corporate division. Working alongside the clinical/corporate divisional teams, to ensure methods are in place to identify opportunities, capture benefits and develop full programme plans with supporting risk mitigations.
- Liaise with management accountants for each Division to validate and verify financial positions within plans or deliver.
